A better back yard.

Tucked away behind a lovely thatched cottage we found a very tired utility area and pathway. Our clients brief was simple: breathe new life into this weary area so that it could be better used and enjoyed.
Operating within a tight budget we opted for locally produced concrete paving which, we have to say, was far superior to any precast paving we had previously used. Where the borders spilled out onto the new paving we used new oak sleepers to build an effective and simple raised bed.
Beside the new back path we created a small, natuarlisitic, pool to attract wildlife and you can see the results in the picture above. Our client, and especially their children, were very pleased with their new pond.
All in all this project sucessfully exceeded the clients brief and perfectly complimented their beautiful house.
Total budget for this project was £2800.00.
