Before and after
Bright Frog:
Terracotta triumph.

Terracotta beds and waterbutts.

Bright Frog was asked create a family garden. As you can see below the brick patio had seen better days and presented endless opportunities for skinned knees.
The raised patio was lifted and the bricks stacked before we excavated the whole area to level it. We then dug out and poured the foundations for the two block work beds which would seperate the rest of the garden. Once the walls were built we back filled the rest of the area with hardcore, set the levels and compacted it before running in the conduit for the low voltage lighting. Jeff set the sandstone paving on a mortar bed over landscape fabric in a random pattern and fitted blue LED uplights into the slabs

Terracotta raised beds with reclaimed brick pathway.

A fantastic light terracotta paint was chosen for the beds after they had been rendered. This was a bold choice of colour which will compliment the proposed planting scheme as well as picking out tones in the existing brick walls and the new paving.

Before work began. Before work began.
