Bright Frog: Garden design and construction
Each project, no matter how different in scope, runs along roughly the same lines.
After your intial contact we arrange a suitable time for a free consultation when we discuss your project, budget and materials. I'll also survey and measure the project area.
I then produce a rough sketch of the project, again at no charge, this is to make sure that I've interpreted your ideas correctly.
Next, I produce a first, more detailed, drawing. There is a charge for this which is dependent upon the individual project. This fee is then deducted from the final cost of the project. Subsequent drawings may also be made to make sure you get exactly what you want.
Next, a fully itemised estimate is drawn up. This will also include a full labour and materials schedule. We never raise this price unless, during the course of the project, you decide to add on extra elements.
At this point you decide whether to commission us to undertake the construction of your project. A deposit is taken, usually 40% of the final cost, and construction begins.
Depending upon the size of the project there may be interim payments, this will be discussed and agreed prior to work commencing.
Final payment is due once the project is completed.
